Congratulations to Care At Home‘s caregiver of the month for March 2021, Cynthia Alvarez! Cynthia truly has a passion for caring for others and supporting the needs of her client. She brings a positive attitude to everything that she does and always helps out whenever she can. Cynthia is great at communicating to the office and documenting when providing care to her clients. She always take the initiative to go above and beyond and for anyone she encounters. Cynthia has been a great asset to us during the time she been a part of our team. We took the time to ask Cynthia a few questions to get to know her better:
What do you like most about working at Care At Home? – What I like most about working at care at care at home is how communicative and flexible the company is. It makes it very easy to balance work and school and get all of my questions and concerns answered in a timely manner.
What led you to being a caregiver? – What personally led me to becoming a care giver was my passion to help in every way I can. This job just brings a lot of joy because I’m able to make a difference in someone’s life by helping them with their everyday aspects to live a better life.
What do you like to do in your spare time? – In my spare time I love to do a lot of different arts and crafts such as crocheting, painting and making things out of clay. I also enjoy doing acrylic nails and nail art.
Three words to best describe you: – Three words that best describe me would be, friendly, trustworthy and helpful.
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you? – One thing that most people don’t know about me is that I’m a twin and even if they’ve never met her they somehow still manage to call me by her name.
Favorite snack and/or candy? – My favorite snack would have to be honeybuns, they’re too sweet for their own good but they’re delicious.
What advice would you give to recent new hires? – Some advice I would give for new hires would be to be as friendly as you can and to not doubt in yourself.
